Duncan Keens is Head of Business Development of Burns & Wilcox United Kingdom, where he leads distribution and development with supporting brokers. Working with both underwriters and brokers, Duncan has developed an approach, which the wider team has adopted, to achieve growth and sustainability with all classes of business.

Duncan has over 40 years’ experience, primarily in Business Development for both insurers and brokers. He has a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management and has spent over 25 years in the London Insurance Market. He joined Barbican Insurance Group in 2009.

During his time at Barbican Insurance Group, Duncan has worked within the senior team to build the name and reputation for customer service. This has contributed to creating an organisation in the UK that is trusted and well respected within the market.
