Our Leadership

Stuart Kilpatrick is the Managing Director of Burns & Wilcox United Kingdom, where he supports the overall growth and strategy of the company and its subsidiaries.

Prior to its acquisition by H.W. Kaufman Group in 2020, Stuart served as the Property & Casualty Divisional Manager for Barbican Protect Limited and was promoted to Managing Director. With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, he was instrumental in launching Barbican Protect in 2016 and is known for helping to grow the business significantly, playing a key role in joining the Kaufman network.

In his role with Burns & Wilcox United Kingdom, Stuart is focused on business expansion and talent development to continue to provide outstanding customer service. He and his team provide capacity for classes of business within the network and Stuart is also responsible for supporting the company’s partnership with Node International.

Stuart and the Burns & Wilcox team work actively with the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) and Managing General Agents Association (MGAA).
